Bentwood is an old method of soaking or steaming very thin strips of wood, and tightly bending them around a shape. After the strips are dried, we apply a strong food grade glue between the layers. The wooden earring is then sanded to shape and finished by applying three coats of Livos Kunos Natural Oil and then a final coat of beeswax which leaves a matt finish.

The organic wooden earrings will have similar grain and a similar colour as the photos, but please note that each piece is handmade and therefore unique and made out of natural wood, so each earring will be different. Photos may slightly be different from actual item in terms of colour due to the lighting during photo shooting or your screen display.
** Care **
These natural earrings are made using real wood and finished with an all-natural oil sealer. Exposure to detergents, water and body products will eventually break down the finish and will expose the raw wood and will lead to premature ageing.
