Wooden Bentwood Bracelet

Handmade in The Dandenong Ranges, Victoria
Inside circumference 163mm x 40mm wide
Glossy Lacquer Finish

Bentwood is an old method of soaking or steaming very thin strips of wood, and tightly bending them around a shape. After the strips are dried, we apply a strong food grade glue between the layers. The cuff is then sanded to shape and finished by applying 2-Pac clear lacquer which leaves a glossy finish.
These cuffs are extremely tough and durable.
Only under extraordinary circumstances would one of these cuffs break.
If you want a wooden, long-lasting bangle, Bentwood is the obvious choice.

SIZING: Please order size of actual bracelet required. We find 10mm- 20mm bigger than wrist size is a good fit, depending on how loose you'd like it.
Bentwood bangles are not adjustable.

HOW TO FIND YOUR BRACELET SIZE:
1. Take an A4 piece of paper and cut a 35mm strip off the long side.
2. Wrap the strip snuggly (not too tight) around your wrist and mark or bend the paper where they meet.
3. Lay the paper flat and measure in mm this is your wrist size.
IMPORTANT: These bracelets are designed to go sideways onto your wrist, they have a bit of flex but they will have a tight slide.  Apply one end on the soft underside of your wrist. Then slide it on and simply turn the bracelet around so it is face-up (or down) on your wrist. These bracelets are extremely tough and durable. Only under extraordinary circumstances would one of these bracelets break!

** Care **
This bracelet is made using real wood. Exposure to detergents, water and body products will eventually break down the finish and will expose the raw wood and will lead to premature ageing.
